Aakash’s practice spans over a period of about 15 years with extensive experience in disputes including civil and commercial litigation, arbitration and insolvency. Aakash regularly conducts matters before the High Courts, Arbitration Tribunals, Trial Courts and Statutory Tribunals like the National Company Law Tribunal.

He has advised and represented clients across a broad spectrum of industries, with expertise in information & technology systems, telecommunication, healthcare services, luxury hospitality, financial technology (fintech), commercial and investment banking, music and entertainment, aviation infrastructure, and commercial real estate development.

​Aakash has a bachelor’s degree in law from West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, 2011.

Aakash regularly writes on the topic and a few of his publications include: (i) Effective Adjudication of Commercial Disputes in India, The Legal Industry Review; November 2022 (ii) Avoidance Applications & their potential for unlocking value, Emerging Ideas on IBC, published by Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, 2023.

Aakash is a trained mountaineer and a certified paraglider. He enjoys the occasional recreational trek with friends.
