Samvad Partners advised WEH Ventures Trust III (“WEH”) on its investment of INR 4.2 crores in the Series Seed funding round of Fragaria Fruits Private Limited

Fragaria is a Chennai-based innovative agritech company focused on developing and operating vertical farming facilities for year-round cultivation and sale of premium crops, with a primary emphasis on fresh strawberries. The company also undertakes research and development, plant propagation, post-harvest handling, packaging, and distribution activities.

The round, led by WEH, had a total size of INR 10 crores and also saw participation from Rainmatter Investments and Spiral Ventures. This investment will support Fragaria Fruits in scaling its vertical farming operations, advancing climate-resilient technology, and expanding its distribution network to reach a broader market.
