SAMVĀD: Partners advised The Fundamentum Partnership – Fund II on its INR 120 crore Series C investment in Smartcoin Financials Private Limited, which operates the digital lending platform Olyv India (formerly SmartCoin).

 

The Series C round involved an aggregate capital raise of approximately INR 208 crore, with participation from SMBC Asia Rising Fund. Smartcoin is engaged in the development and operation of mobile- and web-based credit platforms, providing end-to-end digital lending enablement services to regulated lenders, including customer acquisition, underwriting support, loan origination, servicing and collections through a technology-led stack. The group operates through a subsidiary that is an RBI-licensed NBFC, which undertakes on-balance-sheet lending and enables tighter integration between regulated credit, risk management and digital distribution.
